Farewell to a busy 2013

2013 was a very busy year at Matrix.

We utilised our property portal technology to deliver a new website Advertiser Property, for the Maidenhead Advertiser, which represents the properties of a wide range of estate agents in the area.

A highlight among the local websites we produced was a fresh new website for one of the Isle of Wight's favourite tourist attractions - The Isle of Wight Steam Railway.

The Isle of Wight Festival website got a new look, and we have been tackling maybe our most challenging project ever, both logistically and technically, for the Isle of Wight County Press, all will be revealed in 2014!

That's just a taste of the many many many things that we have tackled in the studio in another fun year :)

Autumn project round-up

It's been a busy few months in the Matrix studio.

We've just got underway on some big web projects, have been commissioned to build two more mobile websites and have some interested bits of re-branding work in the studio as well.

Here's a run down on some completed projects that have gone live over the last few months.

Following on from our recent redesign of The Royal Hotel website, we have just given a make over to the website for the Luxury Catered Ski Chalet that is run by the Royal, with catering from it's superb chefs. The pictures from the chalet are inspiring and the Matrix team wish we were there!

We have just complete a web and branding project for the Southern Advocacy Services, a charity providing advocacy services on the Isle of Wight.

The popular W Hurst and Sons e-Commerce store has had an update and re-design, and the new store is proving a hit.

We have just produced a new website for startup Audio Visual and Home Automation specialists Campbell Elliot.

Our lead Creative Nick was particularly pleased with the design work for Island Foods, the Isle of Wight Meat specialists.

We have also completed another website in the family of websites for AJ Wells and Sons.  We have already produced sites for the companies range of Wood Burning Stoves, and have now added a website for their extensive range of Vitreous Enamelling services.

Summer work round-up

The weather may have put a dampener on the British summer, but there are still busy bees at work in the Matrix studio.

Colville Care are a care provider on the Isle of Wight and in Hampshire.  They asked Matrix to carry out a re-branding project for them, including logo, brochures, advertising, company website, signage and vehicle livery.  We are very pleased with the results.

The Royal Hotel is one of the premier Isle of Wight Hotels.  We have worked with the Royal for many years, and are proud to have launched a newly designed and developed website.

Low Power Solutions is a brand new website, offering a range of innovative / green and emergency products for sale on the web.  We are looking forward to trying the hot pack meals!

We recently completed a very exciting project for Gurit.  This was to produce a sophisticated interactive presentation for them to take to trade shows.  The presentation is designed to work on touchscreens and has been a real hit.

The team have also been hard at work with the team at the County Press, developing a mobile version of the website.  Hit the County Press website on your mobile to take a look.

The bees are still busy, with a whole new batch of websites that are also set for launch.

New websites from the Matrix studio

After a busy summer in the Matrix studio, the team are happy to unveil a selection of new web work.

Dimbola.co.uk is the home of the Julia Margaret Cameron Trust, and the smart new design is the latest in a collection of successful charity websites built by Matrix.

The new Charnwood website for AJ Wells and sons, has been a long time in production, but we think the results were well worth the wait. Charnwood is a leading UK producer of wood burning stoves.

The Owl and Monkey Haven is the latest Isle of Wight attraction. The haven made an award winning start last year, and now has a website to celebrate it's success.

Matrix has worked with RF Engines for many years, and was pleased to put the final touches to the new www.rfel.com website.

We've also been busy with some branding work, and are waiting for some packaging designs for a food company to hit the supermarkets next week.
